Wholemeal bread


In a bowl sift wholemeal flour with white, add sugar, salt and mix well.

We make a hole in the middle, add the yeast dissolved in a little milk, melted and cooled butter, gradually warm milk.

At first we mix with a spoon until it can no longer be used,

Knead a homogeneous, elastic dough, finally add the olive oil and grease the bowl, cover with a towel and leave to rise.

Divide the dough into 4 parts and form the breads.

I formed 2 sticks and 2 loaves

On the floured table with wholemeal flour, pass the dough and place it in a tray lined with baking paper, cut a little with a knife.

Leave to rise for 20 minutes. Meanwhile, heat the oven.

On the oven grill add a pan with water, insert the pan and bake for 20 minutes at 240 degrees, then lower the pan and leave for another 5-7 minutes at 200 degrees (until you get a nice crust)
