Simple quality cabbage


Put the cabbage in cold water in the evening.

The next day, cut the fidelita and squeeze well.

Peel the onion and finely chop.

Put the oil and onion in a saucepan for 1-2 minutes.

Add paprika, pepper and thyme to taste.

Put the cabbage, water and cook for 15-20 minutes.

Fill with water if necessary and place in the preheated oven for 2 hours, 2 and a half hours, stirring occasionally.

When the water has dropped and browned, it tastes of salt (usually not necessary) and is ready.

Served as such is a very good fasting food.

The garnish can be used for other dishes.

I ate it with fried sausages and green onions. (for me cabbage without onions next to it doesn't taste good).
