I think every chef and not only heard of Buddy Valastro - the great Cake Boss :))
Besides the wonderful cakes he makes and with which he pleasantly surprises me every time, he is also a great chef. I watched a few TV shows with him in the kitchen and besides the many recipes with cheese that he prepares, as if he is of Italian origin and puts Parmesan cheese on everything he can, he also made this chicken that caught my attention.
For the breadcrumbs, he used some Italian spices from a bag where I have no idea what he had, but I adapted it so that it would be my tasty chicken.
Otherwise, I think I kind of followed his recipe from what I remembered, because I have the stupid habit of not noting when I see something I like.

  • 1 kg upper thighs
  • 1 jar of roasted capsicum (preferably sweeter)
  • 2 eggs
  • flour
  • biscuit
  • 1/2 teaspoon ginger
  • 1/2 teaspoon curry
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • garlic powder
  • salt
  • pepper
  • frying oil

Servings: 5

Preparation time: less than 90 minutes

RECIPE PREPARATION Tasty Buddy Legs:

We wash the thighs well and take off their skin.

We prepare three plates: in the first we put the flour, in the second the beaten eggs and in the third the breadcrumbs mixed with all the above spices.

We give each piece of meat through the flour, then through the egg and then through the spiced breadcrumbs.

Fry in hot oil on both sides.

Remove the fried meat on a paper towel.

Then put the fried legs in a suitable rectangular tray and pour over the legs the juice from the jar of baked peppers.

Bake in the preheated oven at 180 degrees for 15 minutes.

Remove from the oven and place the roasted pepper slices over the legs and in the pan, cover with aluminum foil and put back in the oven for 30 minutes.

Serve hot!
